Inspired by the vast Northern night sky and the wild Yorkshire coast, our Carnelian Cosmos River Ring brings together fiery colour, deep darkness and flashes of light in one beautifully individual design.

Handcrafted in our North York Moors studio, each ring features a contemporary faceted Tungsten Carbide band, individually inlaid by hand with a striking combination of genuine Whitby Jet, rich Carnelian and shimmering Opal.

Deep black Whitby Jet forms the backdrop, while warm burnt-orange Carnelian and flashes of luminous Opal appear almost like distant planets and stars – creating a miniature cosmos that travels around the band. Turn the ring in the light and different colours, textures and details reveal themselves.

The Whitby Jet used in our River Rings is locally sourced from the Yorkshire coast, connecting each piece to the landscape that inspires our work. Combined with the natural variations of Carnelian and the shifting colour of Opal, it means no two Carnelian Cosmos rings will ever be exactly alike.

At 8mm wide, it's a substantial unisex design with plenty of presence. Wear it as a distinctive alternative wedding band, commitment ring, anniversary ring or everyday statement piece – perfect for anyone drawn to natural materials and jewellery with a story behind it.

Made Especially for You

Each Carnelian Cosmos River Ring is individually handmade to order, so please allow up to 2 weeks for your ring to be created before it leaves our studio.

Important – Ring Sizing

Carnelian Cosmos is an 8mm wide-fitting ring, so please be confident of your size before placing your order.

We strongly recommend having your finger professionally measured by a jeweller specifically for an 8mm wide band. Most jewellers offer this as a complimentary service. Wider rings fit more snugly than narrow bands, so you may require a larger size than you would normally wear.

Please avoid printable online ring sizers, measuring apps, string or paper, as these methods can result in an inaccurate fit.

As your Carnelian Cosmos River Ring is custom made specifically to your chosen size and specification, it is non-returnable and cannot be exchanged for another size unless faulty.
